Locals of Al-Hajar al-Aswad to start filling out applications to return home as of tomorrow

Governorate of Damascus countryside announced that it will start to receive the applications from Al-Hajar al-Aswad ‘s people which are related to their return to the city as of Sunday in order to be able to go ahead with rehabilitating and renovating their houses after obtaining the required agreements from the authorities concerned.

 

In a statement to SANA reporter , Cheif of the Local Council , Khaled Khamis ,said that locals of Al-Hajar al-Aswad have to bring the certified documents that prove their possession to their houses along with  family status documents and copies of their identity cards so they can fill in the forms.

 

Khamis stated that the infrastructure works are still underway in a preparation to receive the locals ,adding that a significant part of them was accomplished especially drinking water and sanitation networks and rehabilitating the power network has been well underway.

 

He added that the schools will be rehabilitated and prepared for the students once the families return.
