Interior and Municipalities Minister, Nuhad Mashnouq, on Monday met at his ministerial office with Kuwait's Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdul Aal Al Qenae, with talks reportedly touching on the memo of protest delivered by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry to Lebanon over the alleged Abdally cell case.
Minister Mashnouq expressed great respect for the state of Kuwait, heaping praises on its immense contributions in terms of its longstanding developmental and economic projects.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing the Lebanese security apparatuses' readiness to cooperate and coordinate with the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry, in terms of providing any needed assistance whether in this issue or any other case.
On the other hand, Mashnouq met with MP Allan Aoun, with talks reportedly touching on issues related to the legislative by-elections and the new election law.
The Minister then met with Deputy Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Lebanon, Emmanuel Gignac, where they discussed the condition of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and the humanitarian situation in Arsal.
