A delegation of the Qatari Red Crescent mission in Lebanon visited on Wednesday the Minister of State for displaced, Moein Merehbi, wih tals touching on the Syrian refugees' situation and the working mechanism set to coordinate and cooperate in the provision of relief and medical services, for the sake of both the refugees and their host community.
Minister Merehbi praised "the great efforts exerted by the Qatari Red Crescent in Lebanon since the start of the Syrian crisis and the concomitant tough conditions faced by the Syrian brothers and the Lebanese citizens alike," stressing that "the newly formed ministry will handle the planning and coordination of work in cooperation with the ministries concerned with the crisis of Syrian displacement as well as with international organizations and associations."
"The work of your mission in Lebanon is appreciated. You do realize the size of the problems and needs, and we encourage and you and reiterate our readiness to provide you with all the support and help you need. We are open to all suggestions, especially in terms of sustainable development projects, such as water, sewage, hospitals and infrastructure that serve both the displaced people and the citizens and also provide a variety of employment opportunities," he said.
