Tourism and Antiquities Minister Ahmed Issa and Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir held a meeting to follow up on the progress in implementing the strategy of promoting yacht tourism in Egypt and making sure that there are no hindrances facing it.
This comes within the framework of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to promote this type of tourism in Egypt and apply an integrated strategy for that purpose.
The get-together also came within the framework of periodic meetings held by the ministers of tourism and transport to discuss joint files between their ministries.
The meeting tackled the latest developments of the plan to promote yacht tourism and reviewing the flow of work in the single-window system that was launched by the maritime transport sector to simplify procedures to get security
approvals.
