NEW BATCH OF SYRIAN REFUGEES LEAVES LEBANON FROM TRIPOLI

A new batch of registered Syrian refugees on Thursday has left the city of Tripoli in the context of a plan implemented by the General Directorate of Lebanon's General Security, NNA reporter said.

Refugees gathered on Rashid Karami International Fair campus in the city, under the supervision of General Security officers, who worked on verifying the identity of departing Syrians and organizing their seating on buses belonging to the Syrian Ministry of Transport.

Head of the North General Security Division, Colonel Khattar Nasreddine supervised the return of refugees and reiterated Lebanon's commitment to the voluntary and safe return of Syrians to their homeland.
