JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia- The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), condemned on Wednesday, the "terrorist attack" which targeted on Tuesday, the Ruqban district in Jordan, and killed and wounded some Jordanian soldiers.
In a statement, Secretary General of OIC, Iyad Amin Madani, stressed the organisation's solidarity with Jordan, in its war against terrorism, which seeks to destabilise the whole region and increase deteriorating humanitarian situations.
He underlined the necessity of concerted regional and international efforts, to uproot terrorism and extremism, which pose a threat to peace and security.
Madani also affirmed OIC's firm stance, rejecting terrorism in its forms and manifestations, expressing his sincere condolences to the victims' families, and to Jordan's King and people.
On Tuesday, Jordan's Armed Forces announced in a statement, posted on its website, that, the attack on Ruqban district on the Syrian borders, targeted a military post, and killed and injured some Jordanian soldiers.
