Kuala Lumpur, The number of people affected by the floods in four Malaysian states, “Johor, Pahang, Negeri Sembilan and Malka” has risen to 31,375 as of Thursday evening, according to the Malaysian national news agency “Bernama”.

The annual monsoon floods in the state of “Johor” forced more than 25,000 people to seek shelter in relief centers.

The Government disaster management committee also announced that all ten districts in the state were affected after the continuation of heavy rains led to a rise in the water level in several rivers in the state. the state.

Floods are an annual phenomenon in Malaysia due to the northeast monsoon that brings heavy rains from November to March.
