RAMALLAH– The Palestinian Presidency on Friday denounced the abhorrent crime by Israeli occupation forces of shooting dead three Palestinian civilians and injuring eight others in Jenin in the West Bank.

In a press statement, the presidency said the Israeli occupation government is to blame for this serious escalation that would certainly throw the region into further tensions.

It added that this crime committed by Israeli occupation forces came ahead of a recently announced visit by US President Joe Biden to the region in a bid to avert any political responsibility.

In this context, the Palestinian Presidency called on the US Administration to move in earnest to pressure the occupation government to stop its continued crimes and aggression against Palestinian people.

Three Palestinians were killed and eight others wounded by Israeli gunfire in Jenin City in the West Bank early Friday, said the Ministry Health Ministry.
