Damascus, SANA-People’s Assembly Speaker, Hammouda Sabbagh, addressed 57 identical messages to heads and general secretaries at the UN, Human rights Commissioner, other international and Arab parliaments, demanding condemnations of continued crimes perpetrated by the Turkish occupier regime who cuts drinking water off one million residents in Hasaka and the surroundings.

Sabbagh called for practicing all forms of pressure available to stop the Turkish heinous crimes that violate all social, cultural and moral standards.

“The use of water as a weapon against civilians rises to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity, particularly as Alouk water station in Hasaka is considered as the main source of drinking water that supplies it to one million residents,” the message read.

He called for putting an end to the Turkish regime’s violations and obliging it to respect the international law rules.
