Damascus-Members of the People’s Assembly said on Wednesday that Syria has obtained victory through fulfilling presidential election, adding that Syria is the owner of right and a cause which has several thousand-year of civilization.
The MPs, during a session for the people’s Assembly chaired by Speaker, Hammouda Sabbagh, affirmed that campaigns of external media and misleading wouldn’t be able to affect the stance and track of the Syrian people.
“The Presidential election entitlement has reflected the Syrian people’s adherence to their national principles and belief in the modernization and development process,” the MPs added.
Other MPs called for intensifying work and unity during the post-election stage.
