Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, accompanied by a host of ministers and high-level officials, started a tour Thursday 2/6/2022 to inspect development works at the old market in Sharm El Sheikh.

Madbouli was briefed on the development plan of the old market as well as its landscape plan.

About 100 shops are part of the old market’s development project, South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda told Madbouli during the inspection tour.

Mabdouli, meanwhile, affirmed that there will be regular visits to Sharm El Sheikh to follow up on projects which are being implemented in the various spheres.

This will be part of preparations for the Red Sea resort city’s hosting of the UN Climate Change Conference 2022 (UNFCCC COP27) in November, he added.
