Prices of 21-karat gold, the highest demand at local market, stood at JD38.8 per gramme, as purchasing price, against JD37.2 as selling price, official figures showed Wednesday. The price of 24-karat and 18-karat gold amounted to JD45.3 and JD34.8 respectively, according to the Jordan Jewelers Association daily bulletin. The gold prices in global markets on Wednesday morning amounted to $1900 per ounce.
