The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), an Asian political and economic intergovernmental organization, in cooperation with the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) and with European Union (EU) funding, launched a 3-year project to boost integrity and accountability in Jordanian public administration. The project is titled: Together for a responsible and transparent administration in Jordan. Chairman of IACC Muhannad Hijazi thanked the ECO and the EU for their cooperation on the project, which will positively impact ministries and government bodies. During the launch ceremony, Head of Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Jordan Patrick Lambrechts, and Head of the MENA-OECD Governance Programme Miriam Allam stressed the project’s key role in supporting the public sector and protecting public money.
