Qatari stocks suffer weekly loss of $13bln

Qatari stocks suffered heavy losses during last week’s trading, the worse in several years. According to the weekly trading report issued today by the Qatar Stock Exchange, the losses incurred by stocks during the week amounted to more than USD 13 billion. The weekly report noted that the market value of shares declined at the end of the week’s trading to 571.1 billion riyals, compared to its level in the week before last when it was around 618.3 billion riyals.
