Saudi Agriculture, claimed to be the Middle East’s largest agriculture exhibition, attracting exhibitors from across the world in addition to the locals and organized with the support of the of the Ministry of Agriculture, will be hosted in 2014 between Sept. 7 and 10, said Riyadh Exhibition Company (REC), the organizer of the event, on Friday.
REC stated: “We are pleased to extend invitation for participation in Saudi Agriculture 2014 held concurrently with Saudi Agro Food and Saudi Food Pack 2014.
Saudi Arabia is the biggest agriculture market in the region. Saudi Agriculture, the 33rd international agriculture, water and agro-industry show, is an eagerly awaited event for international and local companies to showcase new products and technologies to the country and fast becoming one of the leading specialist agricultural events in the world.
Announcing the largest agriculture show of the region for next year, REC released the space option form, inviting applications for participation from the exhibitors.
“The exhibition opens its doors in 2014 from Sept. 7 to 10 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC), covering all aspects of the agriculture and food industries from cultivation to management, production, packaging and distribution,” said Khalid Daou, marketing specialist at REC.
He added that in 2013, Saudi Agriculture attracted around 26,000 professional visitors, including high-ranking officials, major producers, manufacturers, dealers, agents and distributors looking to explore partnership and growth opportunities within the largest and fastest growing agriculture market in the GCC region.
More than 630 specialized exhibitors from the Middle East, Europe, America and Asia in addition to local companies showcased their agricultural products, services and equipment, he added.
Running for the last 33 years, the agriculture exhibition continued to thrive in size and number of exhibitors and visitors every year.
Participants at the exhibitions include food wholesalers, farmers, supermarket chains, manufacturers, agronomists, government representatives, engineers and technicians, project managers, researchers, food traders and importers.
Saudi Agriculture provides cost-effective access to the Kingdom’s massive agriculture and agro-food market apart from valuable networking to expand business, he added.
