Moscow, Russia and China on Wednesday called for totally eliminating terrorism in Syria, reiterating their permanent support to accelerate the political settlement to the crisis in the country in light of international resolution No.2254.
The special envoy of Russian President Michael Bogdanov and the special representative of the Chinese government to Syria Xie Xiaoyan, during a meeting in Moscow, called on the international community to support the return of the Syrian refugees to their homeland and help re-build the country with respect to Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The statement added that the two sides expressed satisfaction over the effectiveness of the political external coordination between the two countries on Syria to resolve the crisis based on resolution No. 2254.
