Russian girl conveys messages of amity to Russian soldiers working in Syria

14-year-old Russian girl who comes from Nadym city in the northeastern part of Russia, sent in 2018 a school bag and stationery as a gift to a Syrian girl from the martyrs’ daughters. The bag was enclosed by a letter in which the Russian girl wished to meet Mrs. Asma al-Assad.

Diana expressed in the letter her regret over the war on Syria, wishing peace for the country. She also wished health and safety for Mrs. Asma who received her letter.

Several days ago, Diana and her mother, Irina Nikitina, visited Syria and went to the Martyrs’ Daughters School and met her Syrian friend who had previously received the bag and stationery.

Diana also visited the site of Russian forces working in Syria and handed the Russian soldiers messages of congratulation and amity on the occasion of Army day in the presence of Russian Ambassador in Damascus, Alexander Efimov, and the military attaché at the embassy.
