Damascus, Speaker of the People's Assembly Hamoudeh Sabbagh affirmed the deep-rooted relations binding the two brotherly peoples in Syria and Jordan.
Sabbagh remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from the Jordanian Bar Association (JBA), headed by JBA President Mazen Irsheidat on Thursday.
Sabbagh said that priorities today is given to the continuation of combating terrorism, facilitation the return of the displaced Syrian to their home, and the reconstruction what has been destroyed by terrorists.
He pointed out to the key role of the bar associations and the men of law in carrying their responsibilities to punish those who shed the Syrian blood and take legal action against the terrorist and their supporters.
For his part, Irsheidat said that the delegation visit came to celebrate the re-opening of Nassib border crossing with Jordan, congratulating Syria's army people and leadership for victory achieved over terrorism.
