Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and UK Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Sunday renewed calls for military de-escalation in Sudan and establishing secure humanitarian corridors for those who wish to leave the Sudanese territory.

In a phone call, the top diplomats also urged the warring parties to take necessary measures to protect civilians in Sudan.

Additionally, they reviewed the strong relations between the two countries and explored ways to enhance and develop them in various fields.

The two sides also discussed intensifying joint coordination on matters of mutual interest.
