Lattakia, - The cessation of hostilities agreement has been violated seven more times by terrorist groups, raising the total number of violations to 841 since the agreement came into effect on 27 February, the Russian Coordination Center said on Thursday.

The Russian Center, based in Hmeimim airbase in Lattakia, added in a statement that the so called "Jaish al- Islam" terrorists targeted with mortar and rocket shells many towns in the Eastern Ghouta in Damascus countryside, while the so called " Ahrar al-Sham " and " the Free Army " terrorists targeted two more times the towns of Brouma and Touma in Lattakia countryside with various shells.

The center stressed that no sorties were carried out by the Russian or Syrian air forces in the past 24 hours against positions of armed groups that announced their commitment to the cessation of hostilities agreement.

The statement said that the ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists continue their attempts to sabotage the agreement, asserting that they targeted towns and residential neighborhoods in Aleppo and its countryside and several towns in the countryside of Damascus and Hama with different shells during the past 24 hours.

Ten tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to a number of towns in Lattakia countryside, the center said, adding that a Russian Air plane dropped more than 18 tons of humanitarian aid over the ISIS-besieged Deir Ezzor city.
