United Arab Emirates Ambassador to Lebanon Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi toured Sidon and Tyre on Sunday, completing the second phase of the distribution of aid from the UAE to Syrian refugees for the winter of 2018-2019, in cooperation with the Medrar Foundation.
The diplomat's first visit was to Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Park in Sidon, and then to the "Madar Medical University Complex" in Shoukin village in Nabatiyeh.
During his tour, Shamsi explained the role and activities carried out by the UAE towards the Syrian and Palestinian refugees.
He also pointed out that "the UAE works in 120 countries in a developmental and humanitarian way."
