Minister of Education and Higher Learning, Akram Shehayeb, concluded his participation "program at the Brussels III conference on "Supporting the future of Syria and the region.
In his delivered word, Shehayeb stressed the need for the commitment of the supporting parties to provide funding for at least three years in the field of education.
He considered that the education for Syrian displaced students "is a way to consolidate the principle of dialogue and recognition of the other, leading to a genuine democracy in Syria."
He pointed out that "educating the Syrians is a humanitarian duty and contributes to preventing youth from indulging in extremism and violence, and brings together the Syrian people on values and development."
Finally, the minister reiterated the call to support the project of the Ministry of Education to provide education for all.
