Shoukry participates in event marking visit of Green America’s Mission

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry participated on Sunday in an event organized by the office of the US special presidential climate envoy and the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo marking a visit by the Green America’s Mission to Egypt.

On Twitter and Facebook, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said the event is meant to discuss cooperation in light of Egypt’s presidency of the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27).

The American delegation comprises representatives of various companies and financing bodies interested in investing in the green energy domain in Egypt.
