Shulgin: 200 notes ignored by OPCW on terrorist provocations in Syria

Moscow, The Permanent Representative of Russia to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Alexander Shulgin, said that the technical secretariat of OPCW ignored about 200 notes from Russia on terrorist provocations in Syria‎

 

During an online briefing, Shulgin said that Syria had repeatedly informed the Technical Secretariat on impending provocations on use of chemical weapons by terrorists.

 

The Russian diplomat noted that the United Nations investigation team in 2020 issued a report which included information on the use of chemical weapons by terrorists , adding that those terrorists are working on Syrian territories and have skills, techniques and chemical potentials.
