Suez Canal records all-time high revenues in 2021

Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Osama Rabea said on Sunday that the international waterway achieved a high record last year with revenues hitting dlrs 6.3 billion.

 

In a press release, Rabea said 20,694 vessels crossed the Suez Canal in 2021, carrying 1.27 billion tons, the highest-ever in the waterway’s history.
