Syria, Iran discuss economic and investment cooperation

Minster of Economic and Foreign Trade, Dr. Mohammad Samer al-Khalil, Iran’s deputy Minister for Tourism, Ali-Asghar Shalbafian met Saturday on the sidelines of Expo Dubai 2020” to discuss the continued cooperation and coordination in the economic and investment domains between Syria and Iran.

 

Shalbafian affirmed Iran’s readiness to participate in the reconstruction process and restoration the archeological and tourist sites which damage was caused to them due to terrorism in Syria, in addition to investment in tourism through building and equipping new hotel facilities.

 

The two sides agreed to exchange bilateral visits to strengthen aspects of trade, economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
