DAMASCUS, At least 11 civilians, including women and children, have been killed by airstrikes orchestrated by the U.S.-led coalition, and that the attacks were still ongoing in the Deir ez-Zor province, in the village of Al Shaaf Friday.
According to broadcaster new agency Ikhbariya and to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the attacks have killed at least 11 civilians. More than 10 civilians, including women and children, died as a result of airstrikes of the international coalition on the village of al-Shafa in the east of Deir ez-Zor province,” Ikhbariya TV news network said.
The same day, terrorist groups linked to Hurras ad-Din (Guardians of the Religion), attacked coalition troops near Soran city, only causing material damage, SANA reported. The attack is a violation of the demilitarized zone agreement in Idleb.
These attacks were responded to by artillery strikes and rocket fire, destroying insurgent’s infrastructure and “leaving terrorists killed and wounded,” SANA reported.
On Nov 17, The United States-led coalition killed 40 civilians in the al-Buqa’an village, about 110 kilometers southeast of the city of Deir Ezzor, in the Deir ez -Zor Governorate in Syria. According to local reports, the victims of the airstrikes were mostly women and children.
