Syria welcomes African Union decision to suspend occupation entity membership

Syria has welcomed the African Union (AU) decision to suspend the membership of the Israeli occupation entity as an observer in this organization.

“This decision is a renewed affirmation of the African Union’s support to the just cause of the Palestinian people and it shows the increasing isolation of the usurping entity and the condemnation of the policies of aggression and racial discrimination that govern its behavior in flagrant violation of international legitimacy,” an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry told SANA on Monday.
