Syrian- Iraqi talks on developing parliamentary cooperation

Baghdad, Iraqi Parliament Speaker, Mohammed Al-Halbousi and Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially the parliamentary field.

 

The meeting discussed the latest development in the region and a number of topics of common interest.

 

Speaking to SANA, Al-Dandah said that the discussions also touched upon bolstering the historical brotherly relations binding Syria, and Iraq , activating the roles of the parliamentary committees , encouraging establishing investment projects and enhancing security cooperation on the common borders to serve the security of and stability of the two countries.
