Syrian-Serbian talks on boosting bilateral relationship

The Syrian-Serbian Friendship Committee at the People’s Assembly reviewed on Wednesday with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Syria, Radovan Stojanovic, means to enhance relations between the two countries.

 

Chairman of the Committee Khaled al-Attiyah pointed out to the historical relations linking the two friendly countries and peoples, calling for enhancing them in all parliamentary, economic, scientific and cultural fields.

 

Al-Attiyah appreciated the stances of the Republic of Serbia towards Syria and its people and keeping its embassy open during the years of the unjust war on Syria.

 

During the meeting, a number of committee members pointed to the importance of the new investment law and its advantages in facilitating the investment and attracting the largest number of investors, particularly from friendly countries.

 

They expressed the hope to enhance economic and scientific cooperation between the two countries.
