Syria u-23 football team qualified to semi-finals of West Asian Football Federation Championship (WAFF) being held in Saudi city of Dammam.
The Syrian team qualified after having the best second place in the three groups.
It beat Bahraini counterpart 4-1 and lost to Saudi Arabia 0-2.
The team will meet Jordan in the semi-finals.
