Syria’s women basketball team ranks second in West Asia Championship

Amman, Syria's women basketball team ranked second in West Asia Championship which was held in the Jordanian capital city of Amman after it lost a match with its Lebanese counterpart 48-74.

On Sunday, the Syrian team won over the Iranian team 68-61 while it lost in the second round with its Lebanese counterpart 60-74, and it won in the opening of its participation in the Championship in a match with the Jordanian team 56-45.

Meanwhile, the Iranian team came in the third place in the Championship after winning a match with the Jordanian team 71-52.
