Baghdad, The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, stressed the need to consolidate peaceful coexistence among all components and sects.
The media office of the President of the Republic said: “President Rashid received, in the Baghdad Palace, the scholar Sheikh Abd al-Razzaq al-Saadi. He stressed the need to consolidate peaceful coexistence among all components and spectra, spread the spirit of intimacy and unity, and protect diversity in the country.”
The President referred to the responsibility that the clergy can assume in consolidating these concepts in a way that supports civil and community peace.
Sheikh Al-Saadi congratulated the President on his assumption of the position of President of the Republic, wishing him success in his work duties.
