Damascus - Temperatures continue to rise to become above average from 4 to 6 degrees as the country is affected by a southeastern superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday that the skies will be between clear to partly cloudy in general and will turn to be cloudy at night on the northern and western areas; rain showers are expected on those areas.
The winds will be northwestern of low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 33/17, Daraa 32/14, Homs 32/16, Hama 35/15, Lattakia 29/18, Aleppo 33/16 and Deir Ezzor 37/21.
