The temperatures will slightly rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya desert areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise gradually to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average and the weather will remain hot and the skies clear.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/22, Daraa 37/19, Homs 34/22, Lattakia 32/22, Aleppo 39/24 and Deir Ezzor 42/27.
