Damascus, Temperatures will slightly rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average in most areas as the country is still affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by a weak semi-tropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general while the weather will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia semi-desert areas.
The wind will be southeasterly in the eastern and al-Jazeera areas and it will be westerly to southwesterly in the other areas with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/22, Daraa 36/21, Homs 35/20, Lattakia 33/24 Aleppo 39/23 and Deir Ezzor 44/24.
