Turkish investments focus of Kingdom Holding talks

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office, Taha Ganj, adviser to Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The meeting was attended by Heba Fatani, senior executive manager, corporate communications department, Nahla Nasser Alanbar, private executive assistant to the chairman and Fahad bin Saad bin Nafel, executive assistant to the chairman.
The meeting began as Taha Ganj thanked the prince for giving him the opportunity to meet and the two discussed investment issues.
They discussed a number of regional and international issues and the global economic climate. Moreover, during the meeting the delegation discussed economic and investment issues related to their respective countries.
Prince Alwaleed has investments in hotel management companies through KHC that manage the following hotels in different locations in Turkey:
1. Four Seasons Hotel at the Bosphorus
2. Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet
3. Movenpick Hotel Istanbul
4. Movenpick Hotel Izmir
5. Movenpick Hotel Bodrum
6. Swissotel Istanbul
7. Swissotel Ankara
8. Swissotel Grand Efes Izmir

KHC has a presence in the financial and media sectors in Turkey through:
Citigroup, AKBANK through Citigroup and Fox Turkey channel through News Corporation
In 2012, a private meeting was held between Prince Alwaleed and PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey during Prince Alwaleed’s trip to Bursa, Turkey.
During their meeting, the premier and Prince Alwaleed discussed investments in Turkey through KHC.
