Two Israelis were injured this evening, one of them seriously, in a shooting operation carried out by a Palestinian young man in Tel Aviv. The young man was shot dead by Israeli police in the aftermath of the incident. Israeli media reports said Kamel Mahmoud Abu Bakr, 22, carried out a shooting attack in downtown Tel Aviv resulting in the injury of two Israelis, one of them seriously. Abu Bakr, a resident of Rumana village in the West Bank province of Jenin, was shot dead by Israeli police officers in the aftermath of the incident. Videos circulated on the social media showed Abu Bakr lying down on the ground helplessly after being critically injured by the Israeli police, before he died of his wounds in a few minutes.
