TWO SYRIAN REGIME OFFICERS KILLED AFTER PLANE CRASH

AMMAN, -- Two Syrian regime officers, a Colonel and a Captain, were killed after their military plane went down due to rocket attack fired by one of the Syrian Free Amy opposition factions in Rahba Khatab, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Friday.

A previous statement by SOHR said the plane was thought to be a Russian aircraft.

Earlier, SOHR also said in a different statement that the Syrian opposition fighters targeted a chopper in the countryside of Hama, but did not provide further details.
