Abu Dhabi, The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed strong condemnation and disapproval of the derogatory and racist statements made by Lebanese Foreign Minister in the caretaker government Charbel Wehbe, against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation summoned the Lebanese Ambassador to the UAE and handed him over a note of protest, denouncing these statements, and affirming that they are inconsistent with all diplomatic norms and the historical relations between Lebanon and all GCC countries.
