Abu Dhabi, SANA- Sultan Mohammed al -Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, affirmed that the UAE government and people stand by Syria in the difficult situation it is going through as a result of the devastating earthquake.

During his visit to the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Abu Dhabi to offer condolences on behalf of the government and the people of the Emirates, al -Shamsi expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the Syrian government ,brotherly people and the families of the dead ,missing and injured due to the quake.

He added that the government and people of the UAE, under the leadership Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stand by Syria and its people in this ordeal, and provide all means of support and assistance to mitigate the aftermath of the quake.
