US Secretary of State, Norwegian Counterpart Discuss Efforts to Stop Violence in West Bank and Gaza

Washington, May 20, 2021, SPA -- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met today in Iceland with Norway's Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Soreide, on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Arctic Council.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation between the two sides in the Arctic Council, the United Nations and NATO, efforts made to stop violence in Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, focus on humanitarian challenges in Syria, and peace efforts in Afghanistan.
