Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, John X, presided over a mass in Romania at Putna monastery.
The Patriarch, who is on a visit to Romania, said that what is going in Syria is "blind takfirist terrorism that does not relate to humanity in any form."
He censured the world for turning a blind eye to what was going on in Aleppo, recalling that it has been three years since the abduction of bishops John Ibrahim and Bolous Yazigi.
"Christianity is not an intruder on the East; it is part of its core and existence. Enough of the terror that has hit [Christians] and others!"
