A Palestinian youth was shot and injured this evening at the hands of an Israeli settler during confrontations that broke out with Israeli forces and settlers in Beit Zaita area to the east of the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, according to a local activist, Mohammed Awad. A youth was shot and moderately injured after being shot by an Israeli settler during confrontations that erupted in the Beit Zaita area. The bullet reportedly entered his shoulder and reached the lungs, causing internal bleeding. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment. Several other Palestinians suffocated after inhaling tear gas used against resident and their homes by the military forces.
