AKAR MEETS FOREIGN MINISTERS OF KUWAIT AND JORDAN

Deputy Prime Minister, caretaker Minister of National Defense and Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Zeina Akar, met, upon her arrival in Cairo, on the sidelines of the Arab League Council meeting, with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah , In the presence of Lebanon’s ambassador to Egypt, Ali Al-Halabi. It was an occasion to discuss the situation in Lebanon and the region and touch on bilateral relations.

 

Akar also met the Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and discussed with him the situation in Lebanon and the region and the means to bolster bilateral relations. The pair also broached the import of Egyptian gas and Jordanian electricity through Syria within the framework of the meeting held between the energy ministers of the concerned countries.
