Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Service (ECS) Minister Plenipotentiary Yahya al Wathiq-billah and head of the Chamber of Information and Communications Technology Industry (CIT) Khaled Ibrahim have discussed means on backing joint cooperation to increase software exports to Africa.
In a statement issued Saturday 21/01/2023, the ECS said that such a step is part of efforts on strengthening cooperation with the state-run bodies to support giving access of Egyptian exports to foreign markets, particularly African ones, under the government’s plan on increasing Egyptian exports to $100 billion.
They also discussed developing an ambitious plan that aims to remove any obstacles facing software and information technology exports to Africa.
