The cabinet’s Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) published Monday an infographic, titled ” Egypt ranks the second in Africa in inflows of foreign direct investment in 2021/2022.”
The infographic highlights data in the report of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on FDI in Egypt, issued in June 2022 .
Gulf investment inflows are expected to reach 22 billion dollars. The move will help recover FDI rates in Egypt.
Foreign investments in new assets doubled three times totaling 5.6 billion dollars including real estate investments of UAE’s company Reportage Properties with 1.5 billion dollars.
The infographic spotlighted giant Egyptian projects that come in line with Sustainable Development Goals.
