Homes, some built before 1967, demolished by Israel in northern West Bank village, displacing 70 people

NABLUS: The Israeli occupation forces today demolished five homes in the village of Furoush Beit Dajan, east of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, some built before the 1967 Israeli occupation of the West Bank.

Furoush Beit Dajan head of the village council, Azem Haj Mohammad, told WAFA that soldiers broke into the village accompanied by a bulldozer and proceeded to demolish five houses, some built before 1967, in addition to three water ponds used to irrigate crops.

He said at least 70 people were displaced as a result of the demolitions.
