In order to steal the land and build a settlement, Israeli settlers today set up tents on lands belonging to the village of Deir Sharaf, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus. Ghassan Daghlas, an official, said settlers, under the protection of the Israeli army, set up tents on land between the villages of Deir Sharaf, Sebastiya and Burqa, on the road between Nablus and Tulkarm. The settlers, he added, chased shepherds off the lands and threatened to shoot them if they stayed there.
