Israeli forces detain five Palestinians from occupied West Bank

Israeli forces today detained at least five Palestinians from multiple areas in the occupied West Bank, said local and security sources.

Israeli forces detained two Palestinians in the Nablus area; one of whom was detained during an early morning military incursion into the Balata refugee camp, near Nablus.

The other youth was detained after the Israeli army intercepted his car while he was driving on Jenin-Nablus road heading toward the town of Deit Sharaf, northwest of Nablus.

The youth was reportedly handcuffed and taken to a nearby military outpost.

A man, in his 30s, was also detained by Israeli forces after they raided and searched his family home in the city of Qalqilia.

In Jenin, a youth was detained after he was stopped at a flying checkpoint placed by the army at the entrance of the village of Deir Sharaf earlier today.

Forces also detained a man in the village of Zbaidat to the north of Jericho city, after breaking into, searching, and tampering with the contents of his home.
